Hi all,

Can anyone recommend some LED floodlights to replace 400w sons or metal halides please?

Seen a few floating around, but not quite sure on quality.

Thanks.

Another vote for ansell mira. Around ÂŁ200 for a 100w fitting from my local wholesaler. They're very sturdy, great build quality and come pre-flexed with about 1.5m of cable, unlike some of the cheaper models.

I've had no issue with led hut.
Their 80watt flood comes up the same as the Ansell Mira one @ half the cost. Plus 5 year warranty.
I'm very impressed with the 30 watt ones

No, he just probably thinks that all the good stuff comes from outside China, little does he know that most, if not all the major lighting manufacturers now have facilities inside China...!! lol!!
the only difference between a lot of the brands is the quality of the factories quality control

If you ever look at some european brands you will see they are ashamed to say it came from china. Osram light bulbs have got "designed in germany" plastered all over the packaging and then if you look really closely in small writing it will say "made in p.r.c."

That goes for both lamps and fittings, it's actually a part of our Spec that all lamps and fittings, be sourced from a company registered outside of the PRC, so we mainly purchase from these companies and the products are are supplied direct from the Chinese based factories!!... lol!! We haven't had any problems with both the last project or our present project, subject to the usual low % of faulty fittings and lamps you expect on any major project, that get to be returned/replaced in the usual manner!!
