Hi I would like to add LED light strips to my kitchen. I have purchased this kit 5M/10M SMD-5050/3528 RGB LED Strip Light + Power Adapter+ IR Remote Waterproof"]5M SMD-5050 RGB LED Strip Light + Power Adapter+ IR Remote Waterproof

However, I wanted to make these motion sensor activated. I have been told that I can add a PIR sensor after the power adapter but before the IR- adapter. I have found some PIR wires online but not sure which will work with the kit I have. If possible could you please guide me on which one would work. These are the options that I have any other suggestions are welcomed:

2A Infrared PIR Motion Sensor Mini Switch For LED Strip Counter Corridor Lights"] 2A Infrared PIR Motion Sensor Mini Switch

5-24V Infrared PIR Motion Sensor Switch With Two Terminal For LED Strip String"]5-24V Infrared PIR Motion Sensor Switch

5A Infrared PIR Motion Sensor Switch

Thank you for your help,

Jasmin

Hi Yasmin and welcome to the forum, Admin may move your thread to the diy section when they get a minute.

Welcome to the forum.

If you have a strip of 300 LEDs then any of them ought to work, if you are trying to power 600 LEDs then they are not robust enough to carry the likely current.
The second and third ones you link to are identical and would be the better choice than the first one that does not have the capacity to be sure of carrying the current (and are more expensive).
The unit should just plug in to the power supply and the IR controller.

Remember that these items are very cheap and may not function as intended.

Good luck.
