LED strip lights - power supply.

Trying to work out power supply for LED strip lights.

12v DC with a wattage of 9.6w per Meter. There is 5m in total.

Am I correct in saying its just the general rule of 230v to work it out. I.e....

48w/12v = 4amp.

so you will need a minimum 5A DC power supply.

5M led strip, total is 48W, if connect with AC230V , need the transformer DC12V 60W ( power supply),it can be working.
