LED testing

Anyone yet come across a way of testing LED lamps apart from plugging them in? The old incandescents could easily be checked with a continuity test, but something similar for LEDs would help quickly separate whether a problem is with a lamp or lampholder, or check spare lamps in a box. I've tried the diode function on the multimeter but doesn't seem to work with a 240v lamp

You are talking about a device containing multiple SSD's all wrapped up in one neat package. Connect them to test.

i've made up a 3ft. length of flex on a BS1363 with a GU10 holder on the other end. ssimplesss.

only way to no is to plug in
