I have installed 18 LED lamps into a kitchen the garage fluorescent lights are on the same circuit when the garage lights are switched on some of the LEDs blow. I have tried putting the garage lights on a separate circuit but the same still happens. Can anyone help

Crap lamps or neutral fault. What test have you carried out on the installation ?

Looks like with the garage light on the led's are not getting full voltage perhaps.

I'm not a qualified sparky but I have had one round he has spent 3 hours testing all the household circuits he has even tested each individual led connection and has found no fault

Are you saying that the MCB trips when you turn on the garage lights?

by circuit breaker, do you mean MCB or RCD?

Yes it does when it's reset it is then you notice that an LED has blown

iv'e got some really nice gas lamps for sale. new mantles at extra cost.

It is the rcd associated with the lighting circuit

It sounds like a faulty fluorescent is tripping the MCB or RCD (you didn't say which) and the resultant surge is damaging your LEDs. A bit confused though, as the electrician would have tested for this...

The LEDs were £13 each is that cheap

I think you really need to get your electrician back to have another look. If the garage lights are taking out your lighting MCB or associated RCD then it shouldn't take him/her long to isolate the problem.
