So am I angry H..... no just irritated and trying to make that guy lookin a mirror to see who he really is

I thought he deserved your opinion and good on you for providing it

That is not in dispute, the use of swear words in the public forums however, is.

We all get wound up by someone or something from time to time but, we all know the forum rules regarding the use of foul language, more so now than ever I would say.

Ha,ha My lack of understanding caused my mouth before brain activity
I missed the bad language

I thought oldtimer was apologising for the content
naughty lad oldtimer :toilet:

Yep I should have known better but as I say it was nothing personal with the lad and no wound up was not the reason more like as I said in the post I have met too many guys like this and was trying to say master of the universe you aint and you are in line for a big fall and the only regret was being naughty so not a good example me thinks

oldtimer,
good on you to apologise, that takes some guts.
Mind I only skimmed the thread, but I would probably agree with you.

IF these 70p/item guys were so good, how come they never actually tested the appliances they stickered in on e of the local colleges here, well at least in the ELECTRICAL staff room, that is unless they did it out of hours!

Another thing is why do I find so many dangerous appliances with "passed" stickers on them?
Oh one more, how do these 1 day trained persons undertake safe isolation, inspection and testing, then, reconnection on the hard wired appliances that I see with "stickers" on them?

I reckon you would have to be a cyborg to capture and record correctly and accurately all of the appliance information required in the IET CoP

How many of there "50/70p/item" companies actually undertake the I&T at the frequencies required by the IET CoP & the HSE documents on the subject?
I would guess NONE, they will ALL do everything ANNUALLY even though there is no need, that's how they make their money, they are the ones ripping off the customer.

Yes but they are doing it with the Schemies approval ie double standards and to get back to that **** as I said nothing personal but he is pure sales and he does not care about anything but money a bit like the banks and look where that got us sadly he is probably making 5 times what the poor label sticker is getting. Some would say good luck to him but he has declared his colours yes its a free world so I will dingy all or any of his posts plus ignore any of his comments
