Hello,
Business has been slowing for a while now, (from what i read it's the same all over) so i am looking for new ways to get business.
I read in another thread that someone wrote a letter to some Builders form the Yellow pages, and got a good bit of work from this, and i guess made some long standing contacts, and therefore guaranteed himself future work.
I have tried drafting a letter out, but i can't get it to sound right. No idea of ow to phrase the opening sentance!

Does anyone have an example letter of introduction that i might be able to edit to my own needs.

Any help on this matter would be very greatly appreciated.

just start by explaining who you are and what you do, may sound obvious but its a start. give a brief explanation of the work you do, have done. maybe give a few trade references/ satisfied customers, ongoing contracts. don't waffel and follow up the letter with a polite, proffessional phone call. some times persistance pays and timing is everything!
