Thanks...301 was quite trickybut its multi choice exam..half health an saftey, more in depth than level 2..its the way they word the questions more than anything that make it tricky the other half of the 301 was motors,a few formula etc.. plenty of revision and its ok

302 wasnt too bad as long as your up on testing, how to carry out tests etc...302 theres 2 exams..1st one practical had to test about 8 circuits in the bay..it replicates a domestic set-up..other exam is written you can use your on site guide an regs book...just questions about testing, procedures etc...draw a diagram showing earth fault loop path is one questions that came up

Hope that helps abit
Good luck..

303 is all about fault finding in the practical and the written part is similar with drawings required of EFLI of either TNS or TNCS, your tutor should be able to give you some previous papers?
Just did mine last week so am waiting for the results.

Got to do the 302 practical & written parts after half-term hols.

Did 301 few weeks ago, got distinction for that. Don't worry too much about the H & S questions because if you take your time to read and understand (City & Guilds language) what the question is asking it will be easy to answer. You will defo need to have your brain in gear for the principles because there are a lot of questions about motors, inductive circuits with capacitance & reactance, so you'll need to learn the formulas, no easy way i'm afraid..... :coolgleamA:

Good luck mate.

Im about to do my level 3 301 302 303 papers in two weeks, not looking forward to the priciples though, it is multi choice though isn't it? I have done all my practical in a bay same as you mb2010 ring main with 6 sockets, a lighting circuit shower circuit and a motor, then a seperate supply to a garage, both pracs were easy though, i had the niceic dvds i just watched them over and over flewit after watching them,
