Hello,

I have some outdoor solar lights, the box shows they are IP44 rated LED. They appear to be E27 LEDs. There is no indication on the bulb, nor manual. I've narrowed it down to festoon light type, however the bulbs I see on Google are quite small and not like what I have.

Equally, it's not clear what the wattage is for this bulb. The solar panel is using a 3.7V 14500 500mAh battery. In total there are 8 bulbs in parallel (on a typical string).

I could use a standard E27 bulb as that matches the shape, but it's not IP44 and could also be the wrong wattage.

Please can you help to identify the right bulb? :)

Thanks.

Are you able to measure the voltage when the lights are on?

Are you able to measure the voltage when the lights are on?
With the lights ON I measured the following:
2.43V DC
0.497kOhm (2K)
4.58kOhm (20K)

If it should have been AC please let me know, but I think DC is right for this type of light. This is what I have: House Beautiful 8 Premium Pendant Light String - https://www.homebase.co.uk/house-beautiful-8-premium-pendant-light-string/13280800.html?rctxt=default

All lights work, I just want to be able to replace them in the future. Funnily enough the description says "bulbs not replaceable".

Thanks.
