We recently replaced a ceiling fan with light in our spare bedroom. Tonight when we went to turn the spare room light on the light (either lamp or ceiling fan) flickered in the master bedroom. Is this dangerous? Could something have been installed wrong?

You either have a loose connection or the new style of lights will flicker before they quit working. My light bulbs do the same thing. Is you fan/ light LED ?
