I need to add a chocolate block to a light switch for an earth, what amp should I use please

It could be a slave switch where you would have a L in and a common wire out to a master switch.

sadly not modern, 15th century but rewired about 15 years ago.

Yes one wire nut will grab a wire but I will suggest an orange one because the wire is 14 gage wire for lighting.
