Hello, just wanting to know if I can take a fused spur off my ring main and take it to one outdoor socket as well as an outdoor light. Or weather I’d need to fit 2 fused spurs. So one goes from the ring to the socket. Then another fused spur from the outdoor socket to the lights? Cheers

What’s the outside socket for?

A single outside light is classed as a fixed load… shouldn’t need fused down again.
13A inside will be fine.
Hey thanks for the reply. The socket is an outdoor one just for when we use pressure washer or run Christmas lights that’s it. And the fused spur will be outdoors next to the socket

I only ask because many outside sockets I fit go from “just the lawnmower” to suddenly a hot tub which takes quite a bit more.
This one is on the front drive so I can assure you there will be small load. Just didn’t know if you could have lighting and sockets off the same fused spur. Thanks for clearing up
