Lighting design

Hi all, Now my apprentiship is nearly at an end, and my 2391 has been passed, I've been looking at doing a design course. Can anyone on the course tell me what it's like, and what sort of stuff is involved? Also, is that the type of course I'd need to do if I was looking at going into lighting design, or is there a specialist course for that? And finally Is it possible to do the 2396 online as my local college may not be offering it?.

2396 cant be done online , and isnt aimed at those with limited experience.
Institute of Lighting Engineers may have specific courses , you'll have to check.
