Hello,

Can anyone help me with this topic? How to determine how many lighting fixtures a room or building (each floor) should have for adequate lighting?

I have attached two data sheets of two lights I intend to use in this design but where do I determine the M. Factor, lumens, the foot candle and the Co efficient of Utilization of the lights fixtures.

What is the general formula to calculate the lighting for a room/ building?

Give the data to your supplier and they will get a lighting manufacturer to work out a lighting plan for free!

Just looked at the data sheet, I notice the company is American, could have issues with UK voltage levels and Frequency, also fittings don't appear to be CE marked so you won't be able to source them in Europe.
