I have been called to a job where an RCBO has been added to a newish board, (a fan has been added and bathroom lights altered).
The Part P guy who fitted them called me out as
1) There is an insulation fault L/N, 0.00 reading (dead short) I initially put this down to some piece of equipment spurred from the circuit and I was reading the connection, and try as I might I cannot find an insulation fault in any of the obvious places!
2) The RCBO will not trip in the allocated time on X5 (although x1is ok)
3) The Rcbo does not trip under normal use
4) The rcbo is working ok (tested)
Any advice would be much appreciated
