So basically i need to draw circuit diagram for some lights, there are 1200 x 1200 recess modular luminaire it doesn't say the wattage so i can choose whichever, what i want to know is is it ok for them all to be controlled by one switch or will i need to add a contactor?
and also whats the difference between a circuit diagram and a wiring diagram?

not enough info. a contactor is required where you need to switch a load greater than the rating of the switch.
sorry i forgot to tell you theres 12 of these fitting which take 3 lamps each and say i choose the 14w t8 ones so the total wattage will add up to 504w will that be able to go on a switch then?

504 watts is just over 2A, so fed from a 10A switch is OK.
