My LED lights (ceiling and wall) emit periodic and random flashes, even when switched off. These can be seen best at night. After the flashes, there's a hissing sound. An electromagnetic field forms between the lights and/or their wiring and where these fields intersect, there is a strong electromagnetic field.

How can I prevent this from happening?

How can I stop electromagnetic fields from forming?

How can I break electromagnetic fields.

I am not in control of the lights or power to them, so I'm looking for a creative answer. :) Thanks.

Might be worth googling snubber networks. Installing one of these will probably cure the flashing.

Don't worry about the EM fields in my opinion. How/why are you measuring these?
