There are many makes of external IP LED fixtures now available, grab some catalogues and knock yourself out!

I've also several 'inside tracks' on a few manufacturers of more 'show/theatrical' type fittings - pm me if you want to.

Halide floods mounted above shutter cage LED s look great Frazers in glasgow have colour changing ones ( sat for nearly an hour one night on way home watching guy set them up it was stunning what could be done with them

cheers rocket, i have loads of catalogues, need to get them back as i leave them places , if you get my drift.... any links mogga, colour changing sounds good, if i typed in infrasers of glasgow, will i get the view, very likely not, he wants me to go have look monday, so just trying to get few ideas...

yeah rogerbodger it is and has to be mounted to building aswell as is shop front and footpath below, most likely the halides would sit on top of shutter cage...

was looking at the ones that shine up and down but have to be mounted half way up the building and you would see the cables... its on a sea front aswell... if you have anymore info cheers, salt laden??

Can't quite see the mental picture that you are painting, but from what I visualize you could knock up some kind of bracket to hold the upward facing floodlights 2-3 feet off the wall to get the best effect, but to illuminate the shop front and pavement you would need some kind of down lighters - correct so far?

if he had the downlighter ones would the shutter cage not block it, but your right in maybe making up a bracket to shine right up the building or a bracet that can let the light turn suppose 90 degrees either way. i have exterior lighting book in front of me and none of the brackets look like could turn the angle i would want them...

Find a local metalworkers, make a sketch, tell them what you want, get them welded up, painted, powder coated - sorted.
