hi lads

im putting in under wrok top lights in a kitchen and wasnt sure about locating the transformer for the lights, is there a regulation on where you can and cant put the tranny so for eg. could i fix it to the inside of the cupboard?

You could do I suppose, but they usually go on top of the unit with the 2 core to the fitting running down the back of the unit

most cabinets have a gap down the back or you could check a wee bit out

If you can't get behind the cabinet then maybe drill a little hole at the top and run it in mini trunking inside the cabinet?

most units have a false back giving you space to play with at the back, id drill into this space at the bottom and one at the top and rod a t+e upto the top where id put my tranny.
where are you getting your feed from?
