Hi all,

2 gang light switch feeding two lights - switches goes to Junction box whereby there is a feed in and a feed supplying this jb and then onto another then the lights are switched wired to the lights. both lights work fine but when voltage is measured at one point it reads 27v when off when you turn on the other light it rises to 35v and im having trouble finding the cause, Any ideas?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense but long day and knackered.

I wonder if we are talking about a commercial building/school? Could the junction boxes be square grey IP rated boxes containing electronics and relays? It just sounds a bit like some 'energy saving' systems that are partly traditionally main voltage controlled and partly controlled by low voltage motion/proximity sensors and standard switches next to, and the same as, the mains voltage switches.
