link alarm to elecreic velux

hi guys im trying to wire up a velux kfx Smoke ventilation | VELUX to a alarm panel http://www.controlequipment.com/newweb/Products/01 Control Panels/CB200/Manuals/CB200 app.pdf

just want to know if i can make the window open when the alarm goes off without using a contacter and if so which terminal on the alarm panel would i use?

i would assume the aux fire P and N/O contact is what you need, but no more than 30v dc 1amp to be put through it, what is the voltage your wanting to switch?

Edit just read the velux manual... it looks like you need a module (you may have to order it) page 53 L/H pic, wire module to smoke panel as shown then link to fire alarm panels Aux fire output, Use P and try both N/C and N/O ... i recall doing this set-up on both these panels but cant remember if module is looking for a make or break.

its for a 24v motor. the velux comes with its own board which has a +- terminal for call points and detectors which i want to put into the alarm board, would the - go to aux fire p and the + to N/O? also it came with a small chock block type thing with 2 resister does this need to be included? i'll try post a pic

it came with a small piece of circuit board with 4 terminals on it 2 in and 2 out it also has 2 resisters next to the terminals, does this sound like the module i need?

you posted a link to the Velux info... as i mentioned in post #2 ... look at page 53 it shows a pic of the module, it has 2 terminals at top and 2 at bottom.

sorry was the picture on the right which was confusing me,
ok lets see if i got this right i take a cable from +- in the velux board and connect to +- on the module
then take another cable from the module to aux fire p and N/O in the fire alarm panel

Your confusion here is your forgetting the smoke panel is also a self contained alarm system with the option of fitting smoke detectors, rain sensors and break glasses as i assume you are only fitting the rain sensor and possibly the window control then you are going to the L/H pic as this is for an external fire alarm system, thats the module you need, the resistor shown is pictured going into the last smoke detector if you are wiring them from the smoke panel its like an end of line resistor, but i assume you are using existing fire alarm so you wont need this.
Ring technical if confused explain your a sparkie but never done alarms and just confirm that you may need to order the module you need and that it links to the N/O or N/C volts free output of the fire alarm panel.

To decode the confusing R/H pic for you the L1-in/ L2/L1out is not a module its the smoke detector terminals, if you have one next to the smoke panel run off the smoke panel and then the module is fitted inside smoke detector and out of this to Aux in fire panel, if you are not fitting independant smoke of the velux smoke panel then ignore this pic, and follow L/H pic.
