Hi all,

Carried out a test last week and came acrross a few things.

1. Gas Bond, been bonded twice but the first bond, the cable as been cut so the bonding conductor is not continous, Please could you give me the Reg.

2. The Gas bond as been bonded to the metal main switch and not the main earthing point. Please reg number.

1. no reg. it's just good practice to makke a bonding conductor continuous.

2. quicker to put it right than worry about an obscure reg.

Its not a C2, not having bonding is C2, having it connected to the "not ideal" point is C3 at best

and having it not continuous is surely a hanging offence. string him up with a length of 6mm, unless it's an evergreen tree, the it should be 10mm.
