Localised Isolation regs.

Where in the BGB or OSG should I be looking for the regs on local isolation requirements

Installing under sink water heaters.

There aren't any Regs that stipulate local isolation.

I think you'll find somewhere that it's recommended to have local isolation for maintenance purposes. "Health and safety " and all that.

You'll have to look outside of BS7671 to get any meaningful guidance on local isolation etc!! lol!!

Is it under Isolation - " switching off for mechanical maintenance " ?

Think, the rcd is tripping is it the new heater under the sink, oh dear, I forgot to fit a DP isolator so it'll take a while to disconnect.

Usually in the manufactures instructions that a DP isolator is fitted
