Hello. What kind of locking off kits do you find most effective? I bought a kit and paid about ÂŁ40 for it but it isn't very effective.
 
used to be so simple. pull fuses and put in pocket. even so, some daft sod will come along and say oh dear there's a fuse missing here. it's ok though, i've got a spare!!!!!
 
to lock off a circuit breaker or main switch so you can work on the circuit without someone energising the circuit. You knooowwww. You must have a load of them in your tool box. I have an NIC inspection and feel like I should have one that actually works so the chap doesn't fail me.
 
you put it into the MCB or Main switch closed and then you open it. The MCB has little grooves that it sits into. You then open it and slide the padlock through. You cannot turn the switch on as it is locked in place.
