Does anyone know any good logo designers they could recommend for some work, that is reasonably priced too ?

Check out 99 designs.com. You post a brief on the website, then designers from around the world compete for the winning design. You state at the start how much you would be willing to pay. A tip though: the better the brief, the more money you put up and the more feedback that you give then the more designers will join in.

I have a friend who designs logos and is pretty good. It's a hobby not his main job however he did my logo for my electrical stuff and its good.

And for my other business idea i used 99designs! With great success might i add! If you want any info i don't mind sending you the 99designs logo just so you can see the type of thing you may get. 99designs works well providing you have the time to check the design and reply to each design about your individual needs. The designers like/need feedback so its well worth it.
