Hi all,

anyone been contacted by Lom UK?

I did a small job for them in December, still not paid me despite raising a small claim.

just wondered if anyone else does work for them or knows them, and if they've had good or bad experiences?

Looking at the company background and the last accounts they filed I wouldn't think you will see the money

Did few jobs and got paid, they still owe me £160, been mailing and phoning sue from accounts they keep promising to put money in bank, they have a poor track record and won't be doing any more for them! They charge customer £90 per hour. I'm not giving up on them. Cowboys well there fraudsters .

Yeah I don't think I will either, what were the accounts like then?

always getting calls from these types of companies, I think as a good rule I won't do any jobs for a company that don't ask if I'm qualified or insured as they're gonna be dodgy just like Lom.

Last accounts filed show them just over £21k in the red as these types of company rarely have any assets that does not look good. Could it be some sort of offshore scam as the directors seem to originate from Bermuda

It's very easy to check a lot of these outfits out on the web and make an informed decision before committing to do any work

New girl just had a call from these while I was out job completed. Will let you know the outcome. Training issue here never take a job without checking on Google first. Policy is anyone calls like this pays by card

This company listed here isn't the same Lom UK. I found out as I got a company called Thomas Higgins to get my money. I gave them the company number from their website, then got a call from LOM who are a totally different company.
Well dodgy.

The really weird thing is though, I got a cheque from them for the full amount two weeks ago for the work I did back in December.

No idea what's going on with that.

Thanks to this thread I am now working direct with LOMs client. Refused to do the job for LOM told the client why rest you can imagine. Thanks for the advice.
