london olci electician courses

hi im new on this site...and i need help..i want to start a career as an electrician and i have an appointment with a provider from olci ..and i want to now if this course can realy transform me in an electrician ....i never been working in this ...and i dont now too much about clectricity....they said i will learn evryting and doesnt matter if i never been working in this...but i am not sure in this ...i need your help....do you think i can become an electrician doing this courses??..please help meee..thanks

mmm I started a domestic installers course with same firm a couple of months ago. I completed 3 day into and have jsut done the 5 day part P training and exams. I passed them all apart from one unit.

Mixed feelings about the quality of some of the 'teaching'. Equipment at the training centre was fine, although as i'm inexperienced I uess I wouldnt know any better. Contact with the central office has been ok, however I'm still waiting for dates for course in the new year.

I guess you need to be realisic about what you want to achieve. I just wanted to get as many quals done in as short a time as possible.

if you do go with olci do the courses in essex, the man there will actually train you as opposed to farce you will get in london.
