Hi Dean and welcome to the forum, I use easycert and can't fault it. I think quite a few members are the same.

I think you are getting confused a little. The mobile version is ÂŁ50+VAT extra, but this comes with the desktop version. You can't purchase just the app version, the core of it is always the desktop version.

You can purchase the desktop version and add the mobile version at a later date if you wish, to do so its still around a one off payment of ÂŁ59.95+VAT.

Regardless if you have added the app version or not, the customer care package remains the same at ÂŁ59.95+VAT for 12 months. The software works if the customer care package has expired but you don't get any updates etc.

I use it and love it. Most people think it is an annual cost, but its a one off payment with option annual care support package. I think the mobile version requires the care package for file sharing though.

Give em a call for a quote and better info, they are really helpful.

If you wanted a pay per cert option I have heard good things about electraform, think its a web based service.

I have got Amtech Fast test they want you to pay ÂŁ230 +vat per year for updates and to have customer support this also includes cable calculations with the fastest. The technical support I maybe phone a couple times a year and you can never get through you get a recorded voice after being on hold for ten minutes or so "there is nobody here to take your call right now then you are cut off the patch updates I don't see any additional improvements or features added. I have a download free trial for Easycert and am going to give it ago a lot cheaper. I chose not to continue with the Amtech support but everytime Microsoft do an update it stops it from working and at first they would not help me as I did not have support Sorry rant over.

I have been trying out electraform of late and this is a good option for certificates if you do not want to shell out a lump sum, it is a bit pricey at ÂŁ1 a certificate but it works really well, you can share a certificate with a subcontractor and it all works flawlessly, on anything from an iphone to a PC or MAC .
