Hi,

I'm looking for advice for working with LSZH T&E cable. Is it common practice to warm the cable with a heat gun to make it easier to work with before running/dressing the cable?. Any tips for working with this cable?.

Thanks!

Don't think I have ever seen anyone heat cable before trying to dress it. If its a bit kinked you can run your hand up and down it for a minute to smooth the kinks out but I wouldn't add any heat via a flame or heat gun.
I don't mind using LSF , never had any issue with using it. If you use a proper stripper its just like t&e

True. Although I'd hazard a guess that things like woodworm treatment are probably chemically quite similar? Don't know.

We just left it as it was, again the customer didn't seem too bothered, dont think she wanted me digging any further.
