Wondered if anyone can advise here please by any chance.

When making a running coupler where one end of your steel conduit has a bend, so turning it to make a fixing would be impossible, it seems apparent that how ever way you do it you will be left with some thread left over on the steel conduit when fixing using a nipple.

Is this allowed and would you need some sort of abrasive coating to stop corrosion as the thread would be on show.
