Hi, Im 17 from bristol & I have to find an employer to support me on an apprentership. I have been offered a 1 day release corse with city of Bristol college and have applyed with JTL training, completed a number of entry exams and assesments and must now find an employer. Does anyone have any advice or know anyone employing apprentices ? Cheers

Good luck. But it will not be easy

Try and "sell yourself" a bit more. Tell everyone about yourself and what you like about the trade etc. It might just make the difference

You can do your 2330 level 2 at Filton College, as your under 19 it should be free or at the most ÂŁ380 for the course. It is 7 months long and only 2 days a week. I would recommend you do this if you cant get someone to take you on.
