i am a part qualified electrician with City&Guilds qualifications in domestic electrical installation looking for work in the Lincoln & Grimsby area (live closer to grimsby). I am 29 and prepared to move location if the opportunity was potentially permanent.
my qualifications are:
-City & Guilds 2382-10 BS7671 17th Edition | electrical installation code of practice
-City & Guilds 2392-10 Testing & Inspection 17th edition | electrical installation knowledge
-City & Guilds 2377-200 PAT testing 17th edition | testing electrical appliances
-NVQ level 2 Domestic electrical Installation (collage course)
i have currently bought the 18th edition bs7671/ testing & inspection guidance note 3 & on-site guide. I intend to take my update exams and can now do these online etc via NICEIC & other training provider. I am also very interested in vehicle charge training and will likely fund this exam myself like i did for my C&G qualifications after collage.
i wish to re-enter the trade after leaving it to look after my late disabled father. Currently I’m a chef de partie but always wanted to get back into electrical but with no success. Hopefully now i can especially since the hospitality trade is hit very bad with pay cuts & loss of full contracts. I want to re-enter permanently and will likely be training myself up over the years to higher qualifications & more renewable qualifications so i can be flexible with the future on energy installation work.
