This person requires some work. They've hopefully explained their skills and qualifications and what area they're in. Otherwise, what's the bloody point?

Hello and thank you for reading my post.

I'll try and keep this brief, I am looking to re-train into the trade after the last few years working in purchasing, behind a desk. I've always wanted to be an electrician. Unfortunately, opportunities can be fairly hard to come by, especially at the old age of 33 years. Recently after doing some research, I was very happy to find a home study city and guilds 2365 to get me started in the trade. So I'll be starting the City and Guilds 2365 courses via home study and weekend classes. The courses will all be self funded and can be completed in my spare time.

I do realise it would be best to get C&G 2365 L2 + L3 before I stand much of a chance of finding a company to take a chance on a newbie. However my goal is to become a certified electrician and only working in the trade will help me accomplish this.

With this website having people who enjoy the trade I guess this is a very good opportunity to find someone willing to train up an old dog like me.

So, if you would be prepared to take on a trainee or know someone who would in the Stevenage, Herts area, please drop me a message for more info!
