I'm looking for unpaid electrican work, i've got electrical qualifications, 2330 L2,L3, although now im qualified i do lack practical experience and im looking for some unpaid work in london to get experience

you should not work for nowt. try all your local sparks firms. offer to work for minimum wage for a trial period.

Abz i think you should put in for the 17th, this should open a few more doors for you.

Glad to see people are still going down the 2330 route, even it is on a full-time course and not apprentership based....anything's better than these 10week joke courses.

London is hard graft to work in. Hence people pay a premium for decent tradesmen there. If you forget anything you've had it, as there is no nipping to the wholesalers as it takes an hour to get anywhere, plus congestion charges and zones, then parking is an absolute nightmare and the traffic wardens are ruthless. Add to this the hour and a half each way for the to and fro from work. However the pay is good, and there is a fair amount of it, its just a lot of hassle for the money
