Wonder if anyone can help? i had all of the freeview channels but some we all distorted so i rescan to try and tune them better, bu when i did this i lost most channels had 1,2,7,8 few more and cant manual scan them. iv brought a new freeview box and a plug in booster but still have the same problem. i have two teles in upstairs bedroom when recieve all the freeview channels so i doubt its the antena any help would be much appretiated thanks.

What area of the country are you, There was a few problems when the north west went all digital with freeview only with co located transmitters and the increased transmitter power homes located between the two transmitters got channels they were not expecting

It may be worth checking channels 800, 801, 802 etc for your lost channels if they are there you just need to renumber them. Unless you are in Wales or Scotland channel 8 will not be available as it's a regional broadcast

Also some of the digibox software is a bit buggy with respect to picking up "new" channels. If you have the choice of scan for new channels versus new install, use the new install option (but keep in mind this may erase any recorded programs if it's a PVR type digibox). Also try running the scan twice (I know it sounds odd, but I have had a couple of cases where it's worked for no apparent reason).
