low energy down lights

Has any one used these, how good is the light output. I am going a job and he wants down lights in every room aproxamitly 54 in total, but i will recommend low energy if they are any good. why were down lights ever invented

Fitted loads of the Click ones.

As long as you keep spacings around 800mm apart then they are fine.

Obviously warm up is a minute or 2, but once they are, they are nice and bright.

make sure you get a fitting specific for low energy
a standard one the lamp will stick out
i use jcc fittings fire rated 13.50 inc megaman 11w lamp

why do diy stores market them as kitchen and bathroom lights? people think they can not use anything else........
