Hi, anyone have any experince of these? I understand that a Type C breaker may be best? I've been asked to install a system of 5 x 50w on a 300va transformer witha run of approx 10m from the board to the transformer.

Any recommendations on make, size & type of breaker etc?

Regards

Thanks Tony. Believe it or not, I've had an email from the client - they want 10 of these....yes, 10 x 5, 50w units! It's a museum and they are apparently to be used for exhibit lighting.

Is there likely to be a problem in having more than one unit on a suitably sized circuit? ( I don't yet know what the switching arrangements are to be).

Regards

As Tony said, split up the circuits as much as possible to avoid nuisance tripping on start up.

We did a job similar to this for the National Trust a couple of years ago and had the same problem, so ran in some extra feeds and switched each transformer seperately.
