Hey guys,
quick question. i've just bought a new house, and its got an old LPS light on the side of the garage lighting up the garden. Now, in my vanstock,i've got a couple of HPS lamps, some with internal starters, some without.
Now, apart from changing lamps, i've not really had much dealings with HPS/LPS systems. Should i be able to use the LPS ballast to fire my HPS lamps (the missus hates the dim orange glow, reckons its like sitting on a streetcorner), and if so should i use internal starters or not??
i don't want to just try incase i blow the ballast, i don't know when i'll next come across a HPS fitting i can *rehome*.
Cheers
