M regs

Hi everyone
i am wondering if i was to rewire a old properly would i have to position all the sockets and switches at the heights in accordance with m regs i usually do new build instalations and have to follow m regs so i am wondering about a rewire.

ok thanks allot so really i could if i wanted to re use the metal boxes and just replace the cables.

As long as the positions/heights are no worse than they were before then yes.

by no worse do you mean further away than those stated in m regs.

Yes, no lower or higher than the heights in part M than they are currently.
