got DNO to come out and fit a main isolator switch, he could see they was 2 cu's consisting of 2 showers 2 rings 4 lighting circuits and 1 radial, but he hasn't upgraded the 60 amp cut out fuse does anyone know why
 
because its more than his jobs worth thats why!!

if you wish to increase the load capacity on your supply you need to fill in a form for service alteration etc....! it asks what size you want etc..! they then go away and see what you can possibly take with current set up on existing cables..! if you require to have the cables uprated accordingly they will price you for that...!!

and any way 60A is probably big enough any way!!
 
not always as easy as just putting in a bigger fuse , its the same as we have to do when we add sockets or lights to a circuit , will the supply take it , it could well be up to its limits , i also agree with what duram has said may not need to be bigger if you take diversity into account
