On a pir I found no EPC and had to run it outside then back into the building as there was no way I could keep it inside without going through a brick wall and kitchen cabinets does it need mechanical protection as it is its 10mm from the water pipe to the met

EPC?

If it the 10mm bonding conductor then no need to protect it unless there is a good environmental or mechanical reason you have to.

Cheers Malcom, I have followed the route of the supply cable and drilled a hole in the brick away from that into the building, I did not have a big crimp so its wrapped and terminated but I will be re-doing it
