Main isolator type?

Hi, just a quick question.

Does anyone know the BS type for a main isolator switch similar to a firemans switch? It's about 500cm high by about 300cm wide, cast iron, with the big metal lever you pull down at the side. There are two 100a re wire-able fuses inside so does that mean I just put it down as a BS1362 on steroids? But that doesn't describe the switch itself.

Fireman’s emergency switches
DP switches have heavy duty cast iron enclosures fi nished in red, IP55. Surface and flush
mounting versions available. They comply with BS7671: 1992 (17th Edition of IEE Regulations)
Clause 537 and 476-03-05 to 476-03-07. Switches are type-tested to BS EN 60947-3 and
have Utilisation Category AC22, 250V. They are of the quick make and break type, AC or DC.
Pole operated ring handle automatically locks in the ‘OFF’ position. White vitreous enamel
nameplates with red lettering, for compliance with BS7671: 1992 Clause 537-04-06, of size
152mm x 102mm with 4–4.8mm fi xing holes are available – List No. 2FNP. For fi re safety
signs to BS5499-1 as required for Petrol Filling Stations under Health & Safety Executive

It sounds like an old BS5419 switch-fuse unit. Those fuses are BS3036.
