Main Isolators

My "main switch" is an isolator fitted in the meter cupboard by the DNO. The installation is 10 years old. This appears to be single pole. Maybe it does isolate both poles but it is very small. Is this right?

Wouldn't have thought the DNO would fit an SP main switch......any chance of a description/pic?

How do you know that it is single pole, have you put your test equiptment on it. I have a wylex one that has an image on it depicting that it is single pole but it is definately double

Photo attached. The switch is in the middle of the isolator so I suspect it's DP. Maybe a silly question but I am still learning and want to know everything!! Thanks. PP

Enter which ever forum you want to start a thread in & at the top, on the left you will see a highlighted blue bar "post new thread"

EDIT: As usual, there is no BSEN number shown at all on the sides etc etc. What do you think the BSEN should be for an isolator which I believe is different from a CU main switch?

If as you say the install is 10 years old, the isolator will be to BSEN 60947-3.
