Hi guys,im currently offshore as a construction elec tech,i have been doing it for 4yrs of it and would like a change of direction,i would like to look more at the maintinance side of things and was wondering if anyone had ideas for some course i could do to get myself a better understanding of this, many thanks

doing what youre doing, you have the potential for a maintenance job, question is will an employer take the time to train you up, a lot will. failing that an HNC electrical & electronic engineering with merit will point you in the right direction, its more and more electronic bias now. working offshore must mean a lot of potential study time ( ive worked in some weird places), try and make use of it,
hope this helps.
