Ive got a mate who's made quite afew quid one way or another, mostly legally.... Selling things on, importing, mostly through ebay or sometimes carboots...

Hes said to me quite afew times: working pays the bills, getting rich needs more (or something like that). He obviously wont tell me much like where he gets his goods from etc as id be moving into his business.

So what im asking is, does anyone else agree? does anybody do "abit on the side" not involving sparkying?

Im not particularly asking for a get rich quick scheme, just anything you might of made afew quid on to pay for something nice, maybe even a holiday, TV, you get what i mean...

Easiest thing I done for a few extra quid was deliver pizzas on a Friday and Saturday night. I used the company van and would make over ÂŁ100.00 a night. Would still do it the odd night if the pizza man is stuck.

I like that. Its worth doing at ÂŁ100 a pop too. I did abit of delivery work for dhl when i was short of work, i didnt mind at all.

For a short period in 2009 when work was dry, I worked as a doorman. The money was ****, but I had little choice. I lost all respect for the human race for a while... It was not my favourite part of my life.

I do a bit of photography - product shots for an acquaintance's business usually net ÂŁ100 for an afternoon's work. Sell landscape images through an agency which mainly end up in books and magazines and can earn anything from a fiver to five hundred quid. I don't get masses of sales (only a couple a month if I'm lucky) but it's a reasonable return for bugger-all effort (I take the pics anyway - it's a hobby). Potential to earn a fair bit more for more effort.
