Does any body have any instructions on how to make your own flyers using Microsoft Word 2007?

Would have to agree.

Using word to make flyers and the like only ever gives you grief.

I went down the "Vista Print" route and giot some double sided cards made up which are about double the width of a book marker and are relatively "stiff".

To date I've found that the enquiries go back months from when I do a "drop" and that people keep them. The first job I got from them paid for the first 750 and I've just got another 1000 printed - they may be a bit more expensive but if people put them in a drawer for further reference then I'm happy!

I have just done similar with MY Print, 5000 flyers full colour, both sides on decent glossy paper for ÂŁ85 delivered. You have to supply the art work - design using word or similar etc, but they arrived in four days and are top notch.

Does anyone know of any sites with leaflet/flyer designs and ideas. I am thinking of doing a drop in my local area but need some ideas on content and design. Any help would be great, thanks.

I used Vista - maybe not the cheapest but their online design tool is good and you can do a "PDF" proof which you can print off to check at home.

I'd say make your flyers more "robust" i.e. not just A5 paper, and then people are more likely to keep them rather than "recycle" them the day you deliver them.
