master and slave

any one had much experiance with using master and slave dimmers to switch and dim the same light from both switches.

are the just wired the normal way with 3core?

i belive varilight do them

why not just use ordinary 2 way dimmers?

because it wouldnt work correctly, you would only be able to dim one side and switch on/off the other.

No, they're connected together with 2 core. The master is obviously the dimmer, then each slave switch (you can have as many as you want) is a retractable (momentary) switch.

thanks they should be easy to retro fit then
