Hi All

just looking at tender sheet & got a quick question about above have read a couple of bits on this & seems to 3% does that sound about right?

Hi Murdoch

this was in it's own section not mark up section just wanted to know what the hell up lift was, The way I read it was the increase in value of materials from tender stage of job through to completion, this would be if there was an increase in materials during the job duration & should they go up this would be the percentage allowed for that unless I have misunderstood Q ?

just not used to pricing this way looks like this has come from a QS for the project & they are asking for a breakdown on the job costs

Having prepared tender documents in the past I would say you are right but as already advised by Murdoch I would contact the person named in the documents and ask for clarification as it is important you get it right, Barrie

hello Barrie Patrick

I will give it a check next week when they are back have quite a few more, just not a format I am used to using.
thanks

Spot on advice Barrie. I too have worked on tenders. It is always best to clarify any points even if they seem obvious!
