number is normally used on the main switch in the dist board it is listed as an over current device on page 73 432.4 ,its actually listed as isolation and switching table 53.2

MCB's are normally 60898 or the earlier ones are bs 3871 so if its isolation a sub main it will be a main switch ,good to check they are listed as over current devices but ill be honest ive not come across an MCB with that number
 
Lamb is correct, a -3 is a main switch plain and simple, and a -2 is a moulded case circuit breaker.

You may need to consult the manufaturers for any applicable info as it's not in the regs.

A quick google may throw up some tech info for you.
