Hi there doin project and stuck on one of the questions help would be appreciated. For maximum demand applying diversity for this Twelve 0.5kw 3 phase induction motors for car ramps each having a power factor of 0.8. efficiency 95%

toal KVA is approx. 8kVA, apply diversity (x 0.4),= 3.2 kVA I = 26A (P=1.732xIxV)

1 = One 5.5kw 3 phase induction motor for gas hot air ducting system having power factor of 0.75. efficiency 95%

2= one 2.2kw 3 phase induction motor for roller shutter door located at the south end of workshop having power factor of 0.85. efficiency 90%

work out your current I = KVA/ (voltsxroot3). kva =kw/PF. volts in this case is 3 phase i.e.400. if i do it all for you it will make you lazy. don't forget to allow for the efficiency.
